ある日、お母さん猫を見失ってしまった子猫はヨーへーと言う少年と出会い、ヨーへーの家族と住むことになる。でもお母さんが恋しい子猫は新しい家族を認識するまで時間がかかる。この本は、子猫とヨーへーの成長を描いていく。
Super cute book. If you’re a cat lover, this is a must. It barely has any kanji and has a lot of pictures so it’s perfect for beginners. Chi is surely going to win your heart!
子供の時、「となりのトトロ」という映画が大好きでした。だから、本を読み始まった時、とてもノスタルジックになりました。映画からの絵がとてもきれいで、キャラクターの考え方がもっとわかると思います。
I would recommend this book to people in lower levels of Japanese. It’s a familiar story, so it’s easy to follow, and there are very few kanji. It also provides a good opportunity to practice colloquial Japanese. The main characters are young children, so their dialogue is much less formal than most of what we study in class. And come on, it’s Totoro. We all love Totoro.
この話が大好きです。この本の中で、おばあさんは「ライフ」と言う店で花のたねが入った紙のふくろをおきました。ご主人が死んだので、おばあさんは悲しくて、さびしいです。ご主人は花のが大好きでしたから、花のたねが入った紙のふくろをおきました。そして人々はライフに入って、花のたねが入った紙のふくろと他の物を取って、花のたねがはいった紙のふくろと他の物の代わりに何かを残しました。みなさんは花のたねが入った紙のふくろと他の物のおかげで、うれしくなります。終わりが大好きです。とても大切なメセージは人々に何かをあげたら、ライフは美しくなります。
I totally recommend this book! Because it’s a Japanese children’s book the natural language can sometimes be hard to understand, but the pictures help a lot. This book has a very important message and will leave you feeling peaceful and happy after you have read it. I recommend it as a start for people who want to try another genre besides graded readers. Please read this book!
しゅじんこうはかぐや姫なのに、なにもしませんでした。かぐや姫はいいゅじんこうのように人々をたすけるとか最悪なばけものをころすとか、しなかったし、いつもすわって、かなしそうな顔で泣きました。しゅじんこうをすきじゃなかったが、話をおもしろく読みました。
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know the behind story of how huji-san got its name. This story does not follow the typical folktale scheme of the main character achieving a happy ending through a journey or a battle. It will refresh any Japanese Graded Readers who are tired of folktales’ predictability with a storyline that keeps readers guessing until the very end.
私は先週は「走れメロス」と言う本を読みました。この話はちょっとこわいですが、メッセージはいいと思いました。せいぎやゆうじょうのテームがあるから、この本が好きでした。でも、たくさん知らない漢字とか単語があるから、この話しはちょっと難しかったと思います。だから、私はよく辞書で新し単語を調べていました。でもたくさん漢字を知っていなくても、この本をふりがながあって、大丈夫ですよ。日本語の二年生か三年生は「走れメロス」を読めると思います。時間がある時、この本を読んでください。
I would recommend this book to anyone interested in stories dealing with themes such as justice and friendship as well as anyone who is willing to learn new vocabulary and kanji.
こんにちは！今日は私は「森鴎外短編集 高瀬舟／最後の一句」と言う本を皆さんにおすすめします。この本は読み物シリーズのレベル四の本です。読むのはちょっと難しいと思います、私はよく漢字を知っていますけど。時々この本に出ていた単語と文法を分かりませんでした。この話は短編集なので、話が二つあります。二つの話は意味がある家族間の感受についていますから、好きでした。この本は短編だけでなく、大切なレッスンもありました。家族はいつも愛してください、どんな形でもいいです。日本語で話を読む、もっと日本のれきしと文学を知る、もっと日本を了解するのために、皆さんぜひ「森鴎外短編集 高瀬舟／最後の一句」を読んでみてください！
I recommend this book to whom feels comfortable with reading a lot of Kanji and new grammar. Both stories are meaningful.
この本は色々な日本や世界で起こった驚くような事件を話します。本の話しの中で、三億円事件に最も興味があります。１９６８年に、三億円事件は東京で起きました。この事件には、三億円を盗まれたけど、今まで犯人をつかまっていませんでした。本はその他の日本での面白いどろぼうも紹介しました。お金を使わないで家を手に入れたカナダ人の話しと空から降ってきた子猫の話しも楽しいです。全部の話しはとても有名だと思うよ！
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who love to read interesting stories that happened in Japan or in the world. In this book, three main stories are told. The first story is about a crime in which 300 million Japanese dollars were stolen. In the second story, a Canadian man was able to exchange a house with a big paper clip. The third story is about a cat thrown from sky by an eagle.
私は「鶴の恩返し」と言う本を読みました。読み物シリーズのレベル三な本です。この話は昔話なので、そして私は昔話が大好きだから、この話が好きでした。話の中で、ある町に住んでいる男の人は鶴を助けて、そしてきれいな女の人に会いました。終わりはちょっと悲しくても、好きでした。この本は昔話だけでなく、レッスンもありました。実は、昔話はよく大切なレッスンを教えるから、今も皆さんは昔話を聞きたり、読んだりかもしれません。だから、この話はちょっと変ですが、面白くて、大切な昔話です。
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about Japanese folktales, because this is a very famous one. Sometimes I did not understand some vocabulary or grammar, but it was usually pretty easy to read. I think reading folktales is really important when studying a language because they give cultural and historical background which can help the reader become more familiar with the culture. Please read this book!
私はチーがとてもかわいいと思ったから、この漫画を選びました。ある日、チーは道に迷いました。色々な所に行って家族を探しましたが、チーのママはどこにも見つかりませんでした。 ヨウヘイはチーを見つけて、家に連れて帰りました。 それから、チーは新しい家族と一緒に住んでいます。
私が一番好きだった所は、お父さんがチーを動物病院に連れて行ってから、お父さんのことを好きになる様に努力した所です。私はお父さんがかわいそうだと思いました。
I recommend this book to everyone because it’s a very light read, with more pictures than words. The kanji isn’t that difficult and there’s always hiragana next to it. It took me a while to realize that ヨウヘイand チー speak in “baby talk”, so some words I had to pronounce out loud to understand (whoops). The story plot itself is very interesting and funny, so I’m probably going to continue reading the next volume!
「雪女」はちょっと怖くて切ない話だ。主人公の巳之吉は普通の人で、真面目に働いて穏やかな日々を送っている。しかし、雪女にあって仕事仲間の死を目撃した途端に話の雰囲気が変わる。巳之吉は普通に生き続けようとする。普通に結婚して、普通に子供をもって年を取っていく。それでも、雪女のことを思い出したら、彼の人生がまた異常な方向に…。このサスペンスに満ちた話は以外に悲しくて興味深かった。
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wanted to read an eerie, gripping story that goes beyond the usual “happily-ever-after.” I am not that good with scary stories, but this book had just enough scary elements to keep me on the edge of my seat without making me want to put it down. There are a decent number of kanji, but the illustrations and dialogue make the plot pretty easy to follow, so I think an advanced second-year Japanese student could read and enjoy it.
