Helen Bezuneh ’23 Mellon Mays Fellow
After completing their work with Meridians, Helen had this to say about her next steps: “I will be traveling to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to carry out my exciting Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship research, which explores Ethiopian women’s racial identities in the contexts of beauty and desirability. I will conduct oral histories of Ethiopian women and immerse myself in the country’s capital to further my research.”
