Veronic worked for Meridians as an Ada Comstock and class of 2022. She majored in Government with a minor in Economics and a Five College Certificate in International Relations. She had the opportunity to take a class in the Study of Women and Gender department, and it was so transformative that she wanted to learn more about feminism and continue fueling her interest in women and our role in political economy. Thus, for her being a fellow at Meridians means being closer to that goal. She learned about women’s empowerment and some of the tools to direct those efforts to the Latin community, given that she is Colombian. In her free time she enjoys reading history, art history, and non-fiction literature. She loves photography, hiking, biking, and in general being outdoors.
